Our music ministry is an integral part of the church’s life together. It provides joy and inspiration to the congregation. 

 

Worship Service Music

 

Choir

Music for worship services includes regular offerings during the school year of both accompanied and a cappella music by the adult choir. The choir takes a break during the summer.

 

Other Musicians

We have in our midst many talented children and adults who offer their musical gifts. Professional guest musicians play for us from time to time. We have been fortunate to enjoy the talents of a variety of musicians.

 

Musical Traditions

 

Messiah Sing

Handel’s Messiah has been performed throughout the centuries as a heartwarming herald to the Yuletide season. During a Sunday morning worship service in December, professional soloists and a chamber orchestra perform excerpts of the Messiah, inviting the congregation to sing along from the pews if they desire.

Carols of Many Lands—A Singalong

In December, sing favorite carols in our candle lit sanctuary and learn some new ones too! Date will be listed on our calendar.
