Facilities

& Rentals

Part of our ministry is to make our facilities available to the community for various events and classes. Some of the activities we have hosted include music and art lessons, concerts and recitals, language, yoga, dance and tai chi classes, and private functions.

Our facilities include our Sanctuary and the adjacent Vestry, which are connected by a covered breezeway.  Our parking lot has 70 paved spots, including 3 marked handicapped parking spots, and an additional 30 unpaved spots.  Our buildings are powered by solar power and our parking lot was paved with a material that does not contribute to runoff into Lake Champlain. Rental price is designed to reflect administrative and utility costs and is based on hourly and per person rates; please contact the church office for specific requests. Email:  charlotteucc@gmavt.net or phone 802-425-3176.

Our Vestry

Our Vestry is the building beside our Sanctuary.  There is a covered breezeway between the two buildings.

The main floor of our Vestry, where most meetings and gatherings occur, is accessible via a small ramp from our paved driveway.  There is one rest room on the main floor and two additional ones in the basement.

Main room

Capacity: 100; approximately 100 seated at 8-person rectangular tables.

Uses: performance, rehearsals, dance/exercise classes, lectures, receptions, community meals, meetings, art shows

The main room of our Vestry provides a large, sun-filled space. The space includes hardwood floors, tall windows and a high ceiling.

Kitchen

Kitchen can be rented in conjunction with the main use or for separate use, although the two would generally not be rented to separate groups at the same time.  Use of the kitchen includes use of the stove, oven, refrigerator, sinks dishes, and silverware.  Note that our kitchen does not have a full array of pots, pans, baking sheets, etc., as most individuals and groups supply their own.

Details of kitchen use are in our Facility Rental Agreement and require an instructional meeting.
