Rev. Kevin Goldenbogen, Senior Pastor
Rev. Goldenbogen comes to us from the United Church of Underhill, VT where he has been Pastor since 2008. Prior to Vermont, he lived in the Boston area where he received a Master of Arts degree in Theology and a Master of Divinity degree from Andover Newton Theological School. He served as Youth Pastor at the Congregational Church of Topsfield, MA. Kevin is from Rochester, NY and holds a B.A. in English Literature from The University of Pittsburgh. He is very involved with the Vermont Conference, UCC where he has served in various leadership roles. Kevin and his wife Deirdre, have 2 sons -- Owen, 14 and Simon, 7. In his spare time, Pastor Kevin enjoys woodworking, playing recorder and drum, barbecuing, baking bread and riding his red Vespa scooter.
Rev. Susan Cooke Kittredge, Associate Pastor
Susan joined the staff as part time Associate Pastor on January 1, 2014, having been part of our congregation since 2009. She graduated from Andover Newton Theological Seminary and served for many years as Senior Minister of the Old Meeting House in East Montpelier, Vermont. She was the clergy representative to the Ethics Committee of Central Vermont Hospital for close to 20 years. Susan and her husband, Charlie, moved to Shelburne in 2008 from Middlesex, VT where they had lived for 37 years. They have 5 grown children and 10 grandchildren. Susan is an avid gardener and enjoys rowing on the lake in the early morning, knitting and baking bread. email@example.com
Hadley Bunting, Director of Families, Children & Youth
Hadley started attending CCC with her family in November of 2014, when her children were sold on the delicious spread at coffee hour. She served for a year on the Christian Education Committee and joined the staff as the Sunday School Coordinator in March of 2016. She has a BA from Stanford and an MEd from Harvard. She taught high school in Honolulu, San Francisco, London, and outside Boston before moving to Burlington in 2004, where she taught at Champlain College for 11 years. She was born and raised in Colorado and is a westerner at heart.
Cameron Steinmetz, Director of Music
Cameron Steinmetz is a native of Norwood, Massachussets and an alumnus of Green Mountain College with a BA in Music & Theatre. An avid singer and actor, Steinmetz has appeared in various operas, oratorios and musicals throughout the state of Vermont. In his time serving as the Director of Music Ministry at Charlotte Congregational Church, he has had the joy of working with and growing a wonderful church choir, bringing together guest musicians for regular and holiday worship services, and has sung as tenor soloist in CCC's annual performance of Handel's Messiah. He and his wife Allison live in Williston where he studies with the Randy Potter School of Piano Technology and is an apprentice of Allan H. Day, RPT. He is working both in the home and in the field toward becoming a Registered Piano Technician, and one day hopes to have his own piano rebuilding workshop. http://www.steinmetzpianos.com
Kim Findlay, Administrative Assistant
Kim has had a variety of jobs over the years starting with raking leaves as a youngster. Currently, she gives back by doing graphic design for local non profits including Jane Kittredge's Playing for Good, Protect Our Wildlife, Essex Community Players, Vermont Wildlife Coalition as well as designing for small businesses. But the best job has been raising three now grown children who are scattered around the country. She is learning to work with horses using positive reinforcement and trying to lower her carbon footprint. She also enjoys being out in nature, birding, knitting, making sourdough bread and reading.
Karen Speidel, Bookkeeping
Karen was our Office Manager from January 2001 after the two positions of Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant were combined, until August 2013. With a BA in Music from Muhlenberg College and certifications in music and elementary education, her early career included music, early childhood, and special education before turning to business when her daughters were young. She has worked in bookkeeping and office administration for 22 years. She enjoys singing with Vermont Choral Union, working out & dancing at Jazzercise, and being with her family. Her husband David is a partner at Place Creative Company, her daughter Kate an architect with AECOM, and her daughter Anna a recent environmental science graduate planning to study landscape architecture. firstname.lastname@example.org
